Our aim was to push back the limits of smartwatches’ tactile interface by developing a touch-sensitive wristband, offering intuitive and efficient interaction with the smartwatch’s applications.
Implementation
The smart bracelet features advanced touch sensitivity, acting as a natural extension of the watch surface. We integrated our Touch&Force sensor into a leather watchband to meet all the interaction requirements defined by our customer. This innovative technology, flexible and adaptable to various materials such as leather, combines capacitive and force-sensing technologies. Thanks to this tactile smart bracelet extension, users can now:
Interact with media,
Make calls,
Access and manage various Bluetooth settings, etc.
The Nanomade solution
Our Touch&Force sensor is based on a proprietary ink, transforming the substrate on which it is applied into a highly sensitive multi-touch, multi-force surface. Thanks to its compatibility with various materials, its intrinsic flexibility and its ability to adapt to surfaces of different sizes, our technology offers scalable tactile and force interfaces that can be integrated into any product.
